My name is Carissa Nichols. I am a full-time student at the University of Kansas, class of 2025, and an Alpha Delta Pi sorority member. I am currently studying Illustration and animation with a completed minor in Graphic Design. I also aim to complete my degree with a minor in Business (Professional Selling).  I have obtained certificates in both Photoshop and Illustrator, which I received in the spring of 2019 from Tulsa Tech, Riverside Location.

 After college, I hope to gain further experience through smaller corporations and by freelancing my work with styles targeted to children's education/entertainment. With the experience and connections gained, in the far future,  I hope to work for a larger corporation to continue my practice.

I have skills and examples in various mediums for drawing using pencil, iPad, charcoal, and pen. My photo editing skills include using a Sony A7 camera, removing and adding objects to photos, light adjustments, and many more Photoshop skills. I have experience with mock-ups for products, logos, stickers, business cards, and vinyl. My software skills include using both Mac and PCs using Photoshop and Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Zoom, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
